The mobs are more or less the same, with altered ones fitting the custom blocks decently in theme. This continues with the wools, wood and the weapons since the details were neat on them. The look of regular blocks is really cool, I especially liked the efforts on the terracotta blocks. In the store it notes that this pack has a Christmas theme over top of it, but that doesn't make much sense. The paintings are well done carrying a festive look though with this being an "Ice Age" pack that seems weird. It's all rather light in look and while I could see certain situations where it might be good to have I don't believe it to be something I'd like to use all the time. At times I found the distinct look of things to be interesting and others time I wasn't too thrilled by it. I could assume this is due to the very clean cut designs and it's quite hit or miss. This is a very strange set of textures, it gives off the appearance of being chilled yet has somewhat of a plastic look. With this pack the world is altered to a frost type look truly aiming to capture that frozen world of the Ice Age. The Minecraft Ice Age Texture Pack by Visula brings us a series of textures that aim to completely revamp the look of the game.
